Recently I did a little Chicago City Guide with my photographer friend Louie Abellera.
First stop: Reno.
- Located in the heart of Logan Square, Reno is known for the best bagels and pizza in Chicago. Everything is made fresh and with a unique blend of ingredients, an ordinary bagel sandwich is turned to perfection. One of my favorite spots for brunch!
Second stop: Steven Alan.
- The first stand alone Steven Alan shop in Chicago, opened up in Wicker Park about a month ago. The store is perfectly curated and the clothing is to die for. Along with Steven Alan, it also carries A.P.C, Acne, Baggu, Filson, Hillside, Rancourt & Co, and Clare V. to name a few.
Third stop: A New Leaf.
- My favorite floral shop located in Old Town. There’s two levels and you can just pick which ever flowers you want as you go!
Fourth stop: Bowtruss Coffee Roasters.
- We chose their location on Broadway in Lakeview to rest our feet and warm up with some great coffee. Bowtruss is an independent coffee roaster in Chicago. They roast in the shop daily to provide one of the highest quality coffee in the city. Their coffee beans directly come from, Colombia, El Salvador and Nicaragua. Definitely a must for your caffeine pick-me-up.
